Karkala: Constitution architect Dr. Bharat Ratna. B. The 132nd birth anniversary of R Ambedkar was celebrated by the taluk administration, municipality and various organizations.
The statue of Ambedkar near the taluk office was garlanded and flowers were offered. Signature snacks were distributed on the occasion.
On this occasion, leaders of Dalit organizations such as Annappa Nakre, Sridhara Gowda State President Male Kudiyara Sangh Gangadhar Gowda, District President Malekudiyara Sangh, Dalit leaders Puvappa Master, Karkala Taluk Magistrate, Social Welfare Department Officer, Municipal Officer, Police Officer, Municipal Chairperson Suma Keshav, Prabha, Somnath , Sitarama and office bearers of other organizations were present.
