Karkala: The incident took place near Banglegudde in the city on Thursday when the ambulance driver, who was traveling from Karkala towards Kadthala, lost control and fell across the road.
An ambulance belonging to the Manipal Rotary Hospital in Karkala was speeding in front of the bike rider who lost control of the driver who was trying to avoid an accident and fell across the road.
It is said that the accident took place when he was being taken home after undergoing eye treatment in the hospital. The patients inside the ambulance escaped with minor injuries.
